Brass Era and Pre-war Swap Meet

The Bay Area Horseless Carriage Club of America and The Ragtime Racers invite you to attend the 2026 HCCA Bakersfield Brass Era and Pre-war Swap Meet on Friday May 1st and Saturday May 2nd in Shafter, CA at the Minter Airfield.

If you are attending the National Tour and Convention, the Bakersfield Swap Meet is the weekend before and is located nearby. It is a 2-hour drive north to the home base of the National Tour and Convention in Friant, CA.

Overnight Camping

Please note that there will ONLY be overnight camping in the Overnight Parking area as noted in the map below.

Sellers are not allowed to camp in their spaces as Minter Airfield is a live, active 24/7 airfield. Simliar to last year, the Overnight Parking area is for those who plan to sleep at the airfield overnight. However, this year, the Overnight Parking area is now located closer to the front gate and a Porta-Potty will be located outside the gate.
